LAYC

As in any great lesson, or life altering event, I had no idea it was about to happen, or that I was ready for it. But arrive, it did.
LAYC [pronounced ‘lace’] began with a phrase heard in 2006. The letters within LAYC, are the first letters in each word of the following statement.

Lift As You Climb

This phrase is historical, and speaks of courage, of dreams, of actualizing, of sharing a journey. The Underground Railroad succeeded on the practice of paying the passage of someone who comes behind you, someone you may never meet.

When I heard this phrase spoken, it resonated immediately. I made note of it, knew in my bones that I had found one of my keys. I held it close it me, until it was ready to speak. That moment came 2 years ago, and this offering you are experiencing now, is the culmination point of that voice.

LAYC, as we will come to know it, is a composite. Made up of intention, desire and fruition. In terms of geography, a composite is parts of different entities, transformed through their joining, tumbled by time, and their journey. Who amongst us is not a composite?

Through the creation and offering of LAYC, as we will experience it, exchanges will be created, and encouraged. Personal and professional alliances will develop. Expectations and responsibilities will be outlined, and will enhance the space in which you will create success

Welcome. I encourage your participation to be active. I encourage you to ask questions and to engage. I applaud your journey, whatever has brought you here.
